How do we update our organization address on our JustGive account?

JustGive uses the address information from the Guidestar database. In order to update your organization’s information on JustGive, you will need to update it first on Guidestar. Please log in or create your account at Guidestar.

The follow these steps on Guidestar (NOTE: You must be the manager on your organization's Guidestar profile):

  1. Go to: https://www.guidestar.org/Account/Login and sign in
  2. Click on the link that says "Update Nonprofit Profile"
  3. Click on Edit Form
  4. On the left side menu click "basic information"
  5. It will drop down more options, click on "basic information" from the new options.
  6. Change the necessary information.
  7. Click the "Publish Changes Now" button at the bottom of the screen
  8. Make sure these boxes are checked:
  • (if it appears) I certify that the ____  level fields for my organization are accurate...
  • This organization has given me permission to update the information in their GuideStar Nonprofit Profile Form.
  • I accept the Terms of Use.
  • Yes, I want donors to be able to easily give to my organization through GuideStar partners like Network for Good and JustGive.

     9. Click the "Finish and Publish" button at the bottom of the screen
   10. You should get a confirmation page that says "Thanks for updating" at the top.

  • Your information will appear on GuideStar within 24 hours. Once you see it correct on GuideStar, verify that it is correct on JustGive.
  • If you don't see it correct on JustGive within 24 hours of updating on GuideStar, follow the steps on this FAQ to update from GuideStar.


Sync + verify your updated address on JustGive

Once you have updated your address on Guidestar, log in to your JustGive account. Under “Helpful Links”, click the "Edit Account" link. Then click on the “Click here to sync your JustGive organization information from Guidestar" link to request that your JustGive account update to the latest information you entered in GuideStar.

Note that is can take as long as 48 hours for any updates you make on Guidestar to also be reflected on JustGive.org.
